Today I was lucky enough to go on a photo walk around Hare Hill and Alderley Edge. Hare Hill is an interesting walled garden and charming woodland. There were huge flower displays and lots of interesting walks around the gardens. I then took the two-mile walk over Cheshire country side towards Alderley Edge, I didn’t actually get to the edge as I had to get home to work but it was a nice afternoon out and I got numerous photographs.
This afternoon I visited Bramall Hall, in Bramhall, Stockport. It is a wonderful example of a ”Cheshire Black and White” timber framed manor house, with origins dating back to Medieval England. The weather was wonderful as you can see from the photograph below. I am very happy with the hundred or so images that I captured today; including many interesting close ups of flowers.
This evening I was in Manchester for a meal out and a trip to the cinema. Afterwards as it was starting to go dark I thought we should go on a little photo walk. I started taking photos around Piccadilly Gardens as the sky looks so nice over towards Market Street. Below is a photograph of Piccadilly Gardens Metrolink station at dusk. We then went on to Manchester Town Hall. Surprisingly for a Friday night I wasn’t the only person talking pictures of the Town Hall.
