Stockport from moving train
Just got back from a trip to see my great aunt and uncle in Shrewsbury. I had a nice time and ate a lovely meal. I am very pleased that I had my camera as their garden was in full bloom and I took a few photos which was nice. When I was on the train coming back into Manchester I was passing through Stockport and noticed this photo opportunity…
Edinburgh Castle with Merry-go-round
I took the photo on a walk around the castle in the evening. Spent most of the day exploring the major shopping areas of the city but the evening was spent wandering around with the digital camera. As soon as I saw this merry-go-round or carousel in the grounds below Edinburgh Castle I knew it had to be photographed. This image was capture at 8:10 in this evening. I am really loving these long summer evenings.
